Ballykisteen Hotel & Golf Resort is a contemporary 4 star deluxe hotel set on 170 acres of parkland golf course that was formally the famous Ballykisteen Stud.  The hotel comprises 85 luxurious guest bedrooms and course side independent suites, a range of 6 state of the art meeting rooms, an 18 hole par 72 Des Smyth designed championship golf course, Serenity Day Spa, full leisure centre & gym and a choice of dining experiences

Conferencing

The Hotel has a choice of 6 conference, meeting & function rooms to suit your event.  The largest conference centre caters for up to 300 delegates’ theatre style or 250 banquet style. The other 5 rooms will host 10 – 80 people. All our meeting rooms come equipped with LCD projector & screen, Air Conditioning, WiFi Internet and most have natural light.  We also include flipchart, mineral water & place names, pads and pens for all delegates. Day Delegate Rate €39.

Whether it's a training session, conference, exhibition, board meeting, themed event or teambuilding occasion we have the facilities to suit you.   We have linked up with local team building specialists Fun Ireland to offer packages for indoor or outdoor team building activities or classroom based training.

Accommodation & Dining

The Hotel boasts a charming mix of comfortable course side, two bed roomed lodges and well appointed guest rooms many of which face over the golf course and all offer free broadband access.  The 45 lodges comprise 2 spacious ensuite double bedrooms, a private sitting room, kitchen/dining and outdoor golf storage.  Our 36 superior rooms include ergonomic work space with very comfortable beds.  If you would like a little more luxury why not choose one of our 4 junior suites which include all the excellent features of our superior rooms with an additional lounge area.

The Junction One Restaurant and Bar are open all day serving hot buffet breakfast, bar food lunches, a la carte dinners & snacks throughout the day.  The location, overlooking the golf course ensures you enjoy excellent cuisine in inspiring surroundings. Our food concept is based on fresh local produce prepared in a traditional Irish style to ensure maximum nutritional value and flavour. 

Golf

Complementing the Hotel is our superb 18 hole par 72 Championship Golf Course. It was designed in 1991 by Ex European Tour & Ryder Cup star Des Smyth & Associates. Set in breathtaking scenic surroundings with abundance of trees and with lakes and streams featuring on 12 holes, it is renowned as both a challenging and beautiful Course. 
An extensive drainage program was carried out in 2004 which has now transformed Ballykisteen into a true all weather golf course.

The tee set up is designed to allow the Golf Course to be friendly to all grades of leisure golfers whilst still providing a challenge for the lower Golfing handicapper. The Golf pro shop attached to the hotel is fully equipped to meet the needs of all Golfers. Golf lessons are available from our resident Golf Professional and Golf buggies, electronic and manual trolleys are available for hire.

Leisure & Spa

All hotel guests can enjoy the full leisure facilities of the hotel - swimming pool, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi and gymnasium.

The Serenity Day Spa is a quiet retreat where you can indulge your mind, body & soul.  We have five treatment rooms & offer a variety of treatments for both men and women.  Our luxurious facial treatments use extravagant Matis products, the body treatments are guaranteed to ease stress and beauty treatments will provide the perfect finishing touches. 

Location

The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Southern Ireland.  It is superbly central for Dublin, Galway, Limerick, Cork & Waterford.  It is also easy to locate on the main N24 and under 30 minutes from both the N7 and N8.  There is an excellent train service into Limerick Junction train station (800 metres from the hotel).  We are 5 minutes outside Tipperary Town, Limerick city is a short half hours drive and approx 1hr to Shannon International Airport.

If you want to add that extra dimension to your stay, there are a host of outdoor activities and attractions in the area such as:
Horse Racing, Greyhound Racing, Equestrian activities, Hiking in the Glen of Aherlow or Galtee Mountains and Fishing in the River Suir.
The Rock of Cashel, Bru Boru Cultural Centre, Cahir Castle, Holycross Abbey, Mitchelstown Cave and the Excel Heritage Centre are all close by on the Tipperary side.  While the Hunt Museum, King Johns Castle, Bunratty Castle, Adare village are close by on the limerick side.
